The island of Oahu makes a good jumping off point to visit other islands via Honolulu International Airport (HNL) but also features the renowned Waikiki Beach, Diamond Head and it’s a shoppers paradise. Kauai, also known as the Garden Isle, is not only lush and green, but served as a backdrop for movies such as Jurassic Park along with the TV series “Lost.” Maui, the Valley Isle, is unique with Haleakala, a dormant volcano soaring over 10,000 feet, while the Island of Hawaii – the largest of the island chain – is home to Kilauea and Mauna Loa, both active volcanoes, towering high over the Pacific Ocean.
