ANA Launches New Flights to Delhi and Yangoon

All Nippon Airways, Japan’s Largest Airline, has announced plans to launch flights on two new international routes.

As Myanmar (Burma) begins to open up to the west with a new government, airlines are in a race to provide highly demanded service to Rangoon via Yangon International Airport (RGN) also known by its IACO code of (VYYY). The new route will operate out of Tokyo’s Narita International Airport (NRT) and will start on October 15, 2012.

The second new route ANA will launch is Tokyo-Narita (NRT) to Delhi’s Indira Gandhi Intl Airport (DEL) on October 28, 2012.

ANA Route Network Plans

The new flights expand upon ANA’s growing Asian route network. All Nippon Airways plans to capitalize on a projected increase in demand for connecting traffic between North America and Asia via ANA’s hub in Tokyo, Japan. The expansion of the international route network plays a key role in the corporate stategy for Fiscal Year 2012-2013 and will strengthen All Nippon Airways business model as a network airline.

Passengers on other Star Alliance carrier’s operating to Tokyo-Narita will be able to make seamless interline connections to the new flights.
