Nonstop Frontier Routes Top 67

For those in Harrisburg, PA, (MDT), who are mourning the loss of AirTran & Southwest Airlines as a result of their merger, Frontier Airlines will start seasonal service in Harrisburg (MDT) with non-stop flights to Frontier’s Denver (DEN) Hub.

In addition to the Harrisburg, PA, seasonal service, year-round non-stops will be added to Frontier’s network including  Bloomington/Normal, Ill. (BMI) and Cedar Rapids, Iowa (CID).

The other seasonal flights are to Bellingham, Washington (BLI) and Great Falls, Montana (GTF).

“Adding low-fare service to these five new destinations from Denver is another sign of our ongoing commitment to our hometown,” said David Siegel, president and chief executive officer of Frontier. “With the launch of this new service, Frontier will be the only low-cost airline flying between Denver and both Cedar Rapids and Great Falls, as well as the only carrier to offer nonstop service from Denver to the remaining destinations.”

Flights between Denver International Airport (DEN) and Bloomington/Normal (BMI), Cedar Rapids and Great Falls (GTF) will be provided on 99-seat Embraer 190 aircraft.  The other two fights, Denver (DEN) to/from Bellingham (BLI) and Harrisburg (MDT) will operate on 138-seat Airbus 319 aircraft.

The Embraer aircraft additionally offer onboard Wi-Fi service from Gogo, while the Airbus aircraft offer 24 channels of DirecTV® and three channels of hit movies at every seat.
