Non-Stop Jet DFW to Garden City Kansas

Beginning on April 3, 2012, American Eagle, the regional affiliate of American Airlines, will start daily round-trip flights between American’s International Gateway at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and Garden City Regional Airport (GCK) in Garden City, Kansas.  The new flight will operating using an Embraer ERJ-140 jet with 44 seats.

American Eagle was selected to provide these flights through the Essential Air service program.  Gary Foss, Managing Director – Network Planning for American’s regional network is happy with the choice, and add’s, “This schedule will allow customers throughout Southwestern Kansas to make a day trip to the Dallas/Fort Worth area for business or connect through this key international gateway to destinations throughout the American Airlines and oneworld global network.”

“We’re excited for the regional economic boom that we anticipate as a result of jet service to Dallas/Fort Worth,” said Garden City Mayor John Doll. “Service to Dallas/Fort Worth has been a goal for the community for several years and we’re eager to welcome American Eagle to Garden City.”

American Eagle, American’s regional affiliate, is starting daily round-trip flights between Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport (ORD) and two new destinations in Iowa – Sioux City Airport (SUX) in Sioux City and Waterloo Regional Airport (ALO) in Waterloo, Iowa.  The new flights start April 3, 2012, and will be flown using state of the art 44 seat Embraer ERJ-140 aircraft.

These are Essential Air Services markets and Gary Foss, who oversees American’s regional network is delighted American Eagle was selected.  This provides direct access to Chicago and beyond at O’Hare International Airport.
